World Snooker Championship Title Sequence

Project Overview
A two-phase brief set by Framestore Design Studio to produce a 30-second title sequence for the 2021 World Snooker Championship, to be broadcast on Eurosport.
For Phase 1, a pitch deck was submitted individually containing concept, storyboard and style frames, competing against other students.
Assigned as Art Director after successfully winning the pitch, for Phase 2, managing a team of three, the remaining thirteen style frames were created.
Needing to appeal to a diverse audience, the elemental formation of the balls, cue, table, is the focus rather than the players, allowing viewers of all demographics to envision themselves holding the cue.
Final Title Sequence
Following completion of the project, the concluding scenes of the title sequence were animated, set to 'The Race' by 30 Seconds to Mars.
Storyboard

Style Frames
