3D Technology Models

Project Overview
A side-project for telecoms provider Swish Fibre, to create a series of 3D technology assets for use across multiple channels.
To maintain a generic yet recognisable form across all models, popular and personal examples were combined to avoid bias. Utilising company brand guidelines, a uniform look and feel was achieved across all technology, integrating colour, font and discreet logo branding.
Created predominantly in Cinema 4D with supporting assets made in Illustrator, all models were rendered from various angles, rigged for animation and exported as GLB objects for manipulation in After Effects.
Final 3D Models
A sample of the completed assets, rendered as PNGs and composed in Photoshop.
Planning
Each object was sketched in advance from multiple angles and labelled with dimensions for accuracy and realism.
Textures
For some models including the washing machine and thermostat, bespoke textures were created in Illustrator.
Behind the Scenes
A breakdown of progression in Cinema 4D, from base model to applying lighting and textures.
